ありそうでなかった極小サイズで大ヒット中のポケットで持ち運べるボトル「POKETLE」と、約1500年の伝統を誇る「越前漆器」の漆コラボモデルの新作が登場！
第一弾のクラウドファンディングで大好評だった「URUSHI POKETLE(120ml)」は30分〜1時間程度の外出や継ぎ足し利用を想定して作られたポケットサイズのボトル。
今回は、もう少し大きいサイズが欲しいというお声にお応えし、容量180mlのロングサイズをご用意しました。
また、弊社が長年作り得意としてきたお茶道具に使われる技法「一閑張（いっかんばり）」を施した「URUSHI POKETLE 一閑」も新登場。和紙を貼り、その上から漆を塗り込む伝統技法で作る、革のようにも見える高級感のある質感をお楽しみいただけます。

New 180ml long size and a special model combining Japanese paper and lacquer!

POKETLE, the pocketable and portable bottle that has been a big hit with its unlikely and extremely small size, and a new lacquer collaboration model from Echizen Lacquer Ware, which boasts a tradition of about 1,500 years, are now available! The “URUSHI POKETLE (120ml)”, which was very popular in the first round of crowdfunding, is a pocket-sized bottle designed for use when going out for 30 minutes to an hour or for refilling. This time, in response to requests for a larger size, we have prepared a longer size with a capacity of 180 ml. Also new is the “URUSHI POKETLE Ikkan,” which is decorated with “Ikkanbari,” a technique used for tea ceremony utensils that has long been a specialty of our company. This traditional technique, in which Japanese paper is pasted and then coated with lacquer, gives the product a luxurious texture that looks like leather.

Japanese Traditional Craft, Lacquer Lacquer Ware Technique

URUSHI POKETLE” is made by craftsmen, one by one, by hand lacquering with a brush. This product, using natural lacquer, is made with the desire to extend the culture of lacquerware more widely into everyday life. By applying the lacquer by hand, craftsmen, including some of the younger generation, also aim to pass on the “lacquering” technique that is the basis of lacquer craftsmanship.

そのため「漆がよく乾く」のは、湿度が高い梅雨から夏の季節。毎朝、湿度や温度を感じながら配合を調整して丁寧に仕上げていきます。

A natural material that “dries out” when humidity is high

Lacquer is composed of a substance called urushiol, which reacts with moisture and hardens. Therefore, “lacquer dries well” during the rainy season and summer season when humidity is high. Every morning, the lacquer is carefully finished by adjusting the mixture while sensing the humidity and temperature. The collaboration with various materials is made possible by the fact that lacquer, which is a “raw material,” is constantly confronted with a natural environment that varies from day to day. This is a product filled with the love of craftsmen, who are able to care for the air because it is handmade.
